This is an incorrect review. I bought it because I have a 12ft desk with 2 desktops on it. I have a 4 bay external hard drive. I wanted to copy files from it to the computer at the end of the table as all the cables run under the table cable and it's not easy to move around. It took forever to connect this cable before the hard drive showed up on another computer. I had to try multiple USB ports. Finally managed to recognize it and as soon as I tried to transfer the file it gave an error and disconnected. So I used my old Amazon Basics 2.0 USB Extender and it transfers data just fine. I bought it because I wanted a higher data rate but all I got was nothing. I'm not even sure if this stuff will charge my phone. and I have 2 of them and I'm 0 times 2
