I love my wool belly mat and really wanted to use it before writing a review. As many reviewers have said, it's durable, efficient, can handle a wide range of temperatures with your iron, and doesn't give off a bad smell. I use it next to my sewing machine for small ironing jobs without having to set up an ironing board. Since I use it right on my desk, I put one of those dollar store Mylar heat or cold storage bags underneath to protect the surface from vapor and heat damage. Ideal! I like the large size of the pillow I chose. I wish I had had this many years ago.
