I have a 60# 12 yr old girl with incontinence issues. She's recently been banned from all of the furniture for this reason, and I wanted to get her something nice and comfy and easy to clean. This fits that bill! I got one size bigger than she needed and although it takes up a lot of space, I'm glad I did. When she inevitably passes, my much younger and larger dog will be able to use as well. I Loved it so much I got a 2nd one. the beige on beige one was on sale, so I got it. I immediately regretted it. As with the white on blue bed, I can easily see when she's had an accident, even if it has already mostly dried. The furry texture in congruence with the white surface make it very easy to see when it needs to be cleaned (often in my house). I have found that I have to do touch and smell tests to determine when the beige one needs washing. I also don't like the shorter less plushy beige surface compared to the white. I think my dog prefers the white as well. It seems softer?Over all, a great product so far. I had read some reviews stating the bed waterproof lining was not actually that waterproof. So far, it has held up, however it does seem like it willl not hold up over time, it seems thin and slightly flimsy (although I could be wrong). so I am already looking for waterproof sheets/liners I can use when that happens. But maybe it won't. I only got these beds a few weeks ago. Brandy's happy, and I'm happy :-). I'm already thinking about a 3rd one, so she has more options around the house.
