*Update January 2022*Guys, this thing is still standing. The cats use it daily and while it’s definitely not as pretty as it used to be, it’s survived a few moves and two 10-12lb cats for over 3 years. The rope has started to come off on some of the poles but with a little effort, it could easily be repaired or replaced. Overall I’m beyond impressed with this and will definitely look at their products again when this one is eventually done for.Honestly I was a little skeptical when I decided to order this because there was only one other review at the time. We decided to give it a try because we really liked the size and the different features that it offers and I’m so happy that we did. Our kittens are still getting used to it but they’re using it more and more each day. I wanted a big cat tree and I read the measurements when we ordered this, but it seems a lot larger standing in front of you than you’d expect. I’d definitely recommend assembling it in the room you’re going to keep it because it was a pain to move through the doorways. It was easy to assemble though and I feel like it’s very sturdy and well made. I also liked that it has a strap to anchor it to the wall if you want, however we didn’t feel that was necessary with as small as our kittens are right now and with the tree in the corner of the room. This is the first cat tree we’ve owned so I cant compare it to any other brands, but I’m satisfied with it. The carpet material doesn’t shed as much as I had feared it would, and I’ve only actually noticed little bits of fuzz right after we put it together. There hasn’t been any transferred around the room so that’s a plus. Another feature that the kittens love is the little balls hanging from the platform beds. They have an elastic cord so the kittens can pull on it and it stretches and slingshots back, which they go crazy for. Each ball also has a bell on it so the kittens have been having a blast with them. I was happy to see that the balls are just tied around a little loop and that they can be easily removed or replaced should they get damaged or just become too annoying to tolerate.The only thing that I wish was different is that I wish the sisal covered more of the posts. One of our kittens loves to scratch and stretch but the sisal doesn’t go up high enough on any of the posts for her to get a good stretch out of it. She still enjoys it though so maybe that’ll just keep her from destroying the tree too soon.Overall, this thing is great. If you’re looking for an affordable large cat tree, this is a good choice.
