I have 2 older lard ass cats. They are both over 17lbs. I really didn’t think they would care about the hammock and would be all over the cat beds at the top but quite the opposite. The upper condo is a bit small so my 1 cat that sleeps in there always has legs or his head sticking out but he seems to like it. I like it, so do the cats. I do have a few complaints though. The scratch pole rope is held on with staples where usually this is held by some non-toxic industrial glue. I prefer the glue because cats have a tendency to put everything in their mouths like an infant, so the staples seem like a poor choice in construction materials since they will most likely be ripped out from being clawed at and wind up on the floor which means I have to be extra mindful so I'm not rushing my little buddy to…

Once I braced the lower part and set a very heavy box on the bottom platform so it didn't sway when the cats jumped on it, I really love it and so do they. Out of the box these guys were on top of it. I added a bridge from old tree to allow more access. So far excellent choice! Would recommend.
