Nice shorts. The only downside is they are 1 inch shorter than the shorts I was wearing so I have a funny stripe down my legs where the sun hits skin it hasn't seen in a while. They have a high waist but they seem smaller than the ones I've been wearing for a few years now. I really like the gel pad, it's better than the foam pad. I have now bought 2 pairs and will be buying more. UPDATE: I bought another pair of these shorts from Canari, really disappointed. Although I bought the same size, they were slightly larger - unacceptable - and Canari have so far refused to do anything to fix the problem. As I have washed them properly before wearing new clothes, Canary will not accept returns or exchanges even if they are of poor quality. If a manufacturer doesn't endorse their product, I will not buy from them again.
