Canari Blade Gel Shorts have become one of my favorites for road riding. Excellent quality cushions and fabric. Very durable and the tape on the blade improves visibility.

Bought these shorts for the price and other reviews - wasn't expecting much for the price and was pleasantly surprised with the fit, comfort and overall quality of these shorts. Unfortunately when they arrived and I was able to use them enough times to write this review I went on to buy more and the price is too high to justify the purchase. The quality and fit are perfect and I'm always looking for the next sale price!

Bought these for my husband who enjoys cycling but is taller than the average cyclist. (6ft / 225lbs) He loves these shorts and how comfortable they are. The lining is a little wider than others and he says these are the most comfortable shorts he's ever ridden in. The material around the knee is also a little looser and doesn't grab his skin like some others, but still stays down and in place.

This is my first pair of padded cycling shorts, not just for lining under other shorts. I usually wear compression shorts when I run, but I've never worn tight cycling shorts. I bought these to wear on a 25 mile bike ride and found them very comfortable and cool on a hot day. For me they fit perfectly as I expected compression shorts to fit. It's a good buy for the price and I would buy it again if I drive more often. I would wear them over soft liners with shorts everyday.

After about 30 rides, washing and tumble drying, the gel padding has completely shifted to one side of the lining. There is absolutely no lining on one side and very thick padding on the other. You may feel like the padding is like two pieces of felt or foam that weren't sewn in place. This is a complete FAIL! Warning! They are undersized. I weigh 150 pounds with a 32 inch waist. I've been wearing the same plus size Canari shorts for a while and wanted a larger size as I really like the gel padding. Nice shorts. The only downside is they are 1 inch shorter than the shorts I was wearing so I have a funny stripe down my legs where the sun hits skin it hasn't seen in a while.
