Im a professional dog grooming and i usually use thinning shears and chunkers to blend and finish of my clients haircut. When they cut the hair how they are suppose it is a nice cut however. I used these shears for the first time, they started catching, bending the hair, and locking so i would have to hold it open to get them to close again. If you do home haircuts on your own dog this might be fore you. But if you're a dog grooming who does multiple dogs in one day throughout the week please do not buy these. They are very unreliable
