The paint on it is really smoky. If you can stand airing it out for about 3-4 weeks, it will be exactly the same as the picture. I assembled it myself. It took less than an hour from box to delivery at final destination. The doors are adjustable to ensure they are level and don't rub against each other. The finish is nice but not designed to put a lot of stuff on it exposed. If you have this on your doorstep I'd grab a plate or bask in the drop zone rather than fall straight onto a piece. In general I like it. I'm going to paint mirror paint on glass that someone else did as a holiday project this week.
