I think Asics have some inconsistencies with their production. I personally bought the same shoe from a shoe store a few weeks ago and they are very comfortable. As far as I can tell, the pair I bought online differs only in being a different color and made in Vietnam, while the pair bought in store was made in Indonesia. The "online" couple isn't that comfortable; You will need a store-bought athletic insole. I've had the same problem in the past with a pair of Vietnamese Asics. So I'll keep buying Asics, but from now on I'll probably go to the store and see where they're made. It's annoying to have to spend an extra $10 on side dishes when two purchases should have been made the same way.
