Internally miswired for 2005 Lexus RX330
As one of the commenters mentioned, the part was probably miswired internally. He opened the lock when all other doors were closed and closed when other doors were opened. It looked like misplaced wiring in the knot. At least, that's what was reproduced on the 2005 Lexus RX330. I ended up removing the electric motor from the new actuator and moving it to the old one. Fortunately, the engine proved to be fully compatible and ran flawlessly afterwards.
