Panasonic RB-M700B, has 2 advertised functions XBS Bass (Enhanced Boomy Bass) and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The headphones are great and very comfortable. Unlike many bass headphones, they have an open design. "Arena. These headphones are disappointing on many counts. The ANC function is toggled on and off with the switch on the phone's right ear with all other controls. The XBS function has 4 levels. It is incorrectly advertised in the specs .XBS can be set to "Off" /Low/Mid/High. Bass is a kind of punch subwoofer that is gaining popularity. The next models I compare with are Sony wh-xb900n or Skullcandy Crusher ANC. So really bad, most important fact, if you have XBS enabled, any bass reached will be completely cut off when ANC is on. This is the most ridiculous ANC feature for "Bass" headphones. The sound is much warmer than with the other two headphones Especially the high frequencies (treble) are not bright. That's my style. If you like muffled 2-16kHz sound and want some bass, the model for you might be Headphones Bass. If you want warm, open-air sound with e If you like a reasonable bass boost, I would recommend the lower-end RM-M500B. This model does not have active noise cancellation and battery life is expected to be longer. These are big, bulky headphones that don't fold in any way and don't come with any kind of case. Your money is much better spent on feature-packed Sonys, or if you want rumbling bass, go for the Skullcandy Crusher ANC. I've listened to all headphones with Premium Tidal, Deezer HIFI and Spotify. I personally can't decide between Sony and Crusher ANC, so I have both for different listening experiences. I would categorically avoid this whole new line of headphones from Panasonic.
