Review on Puig Racing Screen 3613N CBR500R by John Camelio

Guys this is a perfect match for the 2021 HONDA CBR500R ABS Windshield with absolutely no choice of windshield options for this model/year on the internet I have spent so much time researching it find more windshield options. But all you get is a Puig windshield (this one) or WRS High Racing double bubble glass or some cheaper windshields on Amazon here for around $40 or so. Looks kinda crazy to see someone who is over 12 inches - 12 1/2 inches tall and then seriously start looking really stupid embarrassing and believe me all I wanted was nothing more than the tallest windshield that I was able to find for this year/model just so I could stop the force breaking my neck from the wind pressure and pulling me back. It will also help others to know that my Honda Cbr500r ABS 2021 color is a gray model with a metal axle and I have a dark (black) Puig screen color and it really doesn't go well with the color match. On the other hand I hope this can help someone else so you don't hesitate as much as I did when buying this screen due to the dimensions advertised as 12.4 inches and then measure your standard windscreen and you receive a measure of 12 inches. in height already the way it is SOOO. Why pay nearly $100 just for an extra 0.4 inch of difference or something? That's why I'm writing this for you. I've been putting off updating my screen since October 30, 2020 when I bought my bike from the dealer and immediately knew I wanted a bigger screen. I felt like I wouldn't like to pay for it and wouldn't even get the difference in wind protection. (At least that's what I thought) There's a slight slant forward in the center of this windshield where you can see it's round and that makes a huge difference in wind blocking for you. I literally almost bought this custom black/dark carbon fiber windshield from a sketchy Chinese online site because of the height I saw and I swear to god if you go any higher than that thick slab it just won't get right look. This is a 2021 Honda CBR500R so I'm so glad I did and went with my intuition. I hope this can help ANYONE seeing how I felt like I never felt secure in knowing what to do to find the right windshield let alone just trying to find one lol, what you need. Seriously looking for accessories with this model. Anything for the CBR600R and up, and it's like you have a $7000 bike that you paid for and then suddenly you're surprised you can't do anything with it, because for this year and this model, there's hardly any upgrades exist. But definitely pull the trigger on that windshield. . The next step I take is to get an even more comfortable fit (for the wind and in general). on amazon here for about $40, which is a great value because you pay $200+ elsewhere. Light. These clips are:☆Cafe racers that attach to the risers☆•41mm fork tube••22mm handlebar clip•(or 7/8)•(same)••8 degree handlebar tilt•(down ) •• 9 inch handlebars • ☆ T-Rex lower links (for lowering the rear) ☆ • ($100.00) • (which is pricey, but again, it's one of the few parts for this bike and year that I could find for this, to the point of lowering the seat height) so you don't sit so straight/forward and sit much higher than the front and windshield. That's why the wind throws you. What people don't realize is that lowering your back can actually help you sit lower, allowing for a more secure and centered comfortable position, but everyone sits differently so this may not be the case for everyone!) This (2 ) ^^ Suggestions^^ (might) help you find what you're looking for when you're looking for a windshield upgrade, which probably means you're also looking for more comfortable driving and better wind coverage. So I hope this really helps someone. But definitely opt for a dark/black screen on your windshield. Looks damn cool and windproof.
