I bought one in black and gave the other one in red to my friend. They help with the metal dice we have which of course make loud noises and can damage tables and also keep our resin dice from slipping away when you need to toss a few dice. I will say there is an odor that lingers for a while. It smells like polyurethane, which is what the back is made of, but weathered. You'll also need to flex the corners a bit for them to snap into place, but nothing major, just thought I'd mention it. In general, it does its job well, it has a high quality finish, does not shed, does not discolour, and fits perfectly in a pocket.
