The design isn't as good as the older model.
Bought for my husband to replace the same shoes. He had the previous pair for 7 years and wore them all the time: hiking, around town, around the house, on the roof, etc. He was very happy to receive the same shoes with Kevlar laces and Goretex material so that they still 7 years keep years. . Great shoes!
