This toothpick holder consists of two parts made of solid stainless steel. The bottom of the shelf seems to be carrying extra weight, which is why I believe it's thicker than the sides of the bin. The upper part is screwed on easily but securely. The opening is perfect for dispensing toothpicks, although toothpicks with grooves on the top can get stuck in the exit, which I have experienced. If you use a lot of toothpicks or just want a great container, this one comes highly recommended!
