Review on Schumacher SC1359 Automatic Battery Maintainer by Kenneth Murphy

This was a replacement charger that charged my batteries from 75% to 100% at an 8 amp setting and then automatically shut off. This new charger is very unstable. Despite being 15 amps, it takes hours to increase the charge percentage (according to the display) from 75% to 99% and seemingly forever to reach 100% and go into maintenance mode. At 95%, the battery is already charged to over 13 volts, a fully charged battery has a voltage of 12.8 volts. I believe this charger charges the battery before it even shows a 95% charge. Don't ruin a $150 battery with a $60 charger.
