The idea of cordless electric scissors is a great one. And while these are working, they cut very well. I have two issues. The first is a minor annoyance. It would be nice if once you triggered the safety off, it stayed off. Having to take off the safety every time you want to use the scissors is a hassle, particularly until you get used to picking up the scissors being a two-step process. If the span was just a little longer, it'd be less of an issue. I get the extreme safety they're going for but as "adults only" mode would be nice.The second issue is one I have with lots of lithium battery electronics, in that they want to be fully discharged before recharging. Me, on the other hand, I'd rather not be completely without the item and would prefer to be able to charge when it's convenient so it's never completely dead. I realize doing that shortens the battery life. Maybe it's best that i save these for special cutting tasks and don't employ them in everyday use because of these factors.
