Review on Clicgear 8 0 Cooler Bag Black by Troy Robinson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Works great on a cart but not easy to get to - also they need a better carry handle

I couldn't figure out where to attach the strap and the thing got dragged on the ground and wouldn't staying in place - it was very annoying until I read the other post which said I had to thread the strap through the trolley push handle. I did this today and it worked well - the bottom two buckles stayed in place while I was on the fairway - only came loose once when I was driving on really rough ground. It works great on a cart and would have given it 4 or 5 stars if it weren't for two major design issues. First, it's not easy to put it on the trolley, especially if you already have clubs on the trolley. You should kneel under the racquets and try to fish the velcro out through the handle and close it. Of course, for that price, they could come up with something that would fit in. The name is Clicgear right? The second problem occurs when I want to take it off the cart and carry it around. I stow my cart, bag and clubs at the track so just open the cooler and voila - I'm ready to go - except the handle on the cooler is on the back so the unit tilts forward when carried - and that was it. The top compartment has no zipper or other closure - it simply opens. It's ok for the cooler bag to be on a trolley for easy access, but when carried from the club to the car or car home things will fall out of the top compartment. They had to add a zipper or other closure to both the top and bottom compartments. That way I can leave it open for easy access when it's on the trolley, but when I want to take the bag home and refill, things wouldn't fall all over the place if zipped could. Alternatively, they must add a carry handle to the top of the bag instead of the back of the bag. If the handle was on top, it would stay upright when carried and things wouldn't fall out. In fact, I am expecting better technique from Clicgear to make this material more user-friendly.
