DO NOT pay $35-$50 for this shirt! If you're flexible with the color, you can look up your size and find the same shirt for a lot less. The price changes randomly, so let us know if the price drops! High quality and good durability after tough outdoor play in mud, mud, sun and beach. I knew this shirt was going to be large as the smallest size was xxs (also listed as 2t) but I would say it's oversized and last year it was quite big for a kid. In fact, he was wearing clothes that were 24 months old, mostly when the old photo was taken. This year he wears 3T/4T shirts and this shirt is still too big. I will clarify that even though it's big it's still a very light fabric and due to the roll-up tabs I can roll up my sleeves and it still works, it's more like a dress than a shirt 😆 If you're after a custom made"Mini-Fisherman/Adrette" look, I would go down a size. If, like us, you have a child who is mostly naked all the time and you want this shirt to protect them from the sun, then it's totally fine if they're a little bigger, and it's actually very handy to buy a bigger one. and let the child grow into it. The fabric has a great finish that feels nice but repels most splashes until you actually wear it in the water and it gets soaked. This review is technically for a shirt we bought last year, but we just bought another one in light gray so we can take turns 😉
