I am a first time tile person and did a shower using a 4x12 tile. I used these thinking it would help me do a better job. The good is that they are much cheaper than the name brand. The bad, they are more flimsy than the name brand so not sure if this mattered or not. They spread your grout line apart so I was constantly having to readjust my grout line. It added a lot of time and work. If you get any thinset on them they will be hard to remove. If they don't break off cleanly you have to cut them out and that was very hard. I chipped a couple of tile doing so. I think they would be better on a floor than a wall. I am not sure they were worth the trouble. It adds a lot of work to your job!
