Good product - if your cooker hood doesn't have a dimmer

I bought this lamp to replace the halogen lamps in my Dacor cooker hood. Unfortunately it didn't work because the power switch on my range hood is a dimmer. When I turned on the light, I turned on the flash until I cranked it up to maximum output. So if you have a range hood dimmer like I do, it can get a little annoying for a second or two when you flip the switch. After full power, the light is strong and has good color. I sent the bulb back because it was not compatible with my extractor, but it seemed to me a good product, it arrived on time, well packaged, etc.
