My 2.5 year old daughter has never had a scarf and wasn't interested at first but after a few weeks I pulled it out and suddenly she's obsessed with wearing it. It is very soft and elastic. It cannot withstand heavy use. It wouldn't really surprise me if it ripped apart before becoming a choking hazard if I was ever in a situation like this, but I would never leave my child unattended. She is very pretty and fits well. She is small but big. This is an endless loop that I have to throw around her neck twice. She loves to "dress up" and accessories help with that. Or she likes it "cozy" when it's cold and wears it even though I don't find it warm at all. Or sometimes she likes to say it's her lion mane and she's a lion dad. It doesn't scratch, so she can wear it for a long time. Not something I think is a must-have for every child, but I love that she has an accessory to choose from because she doesn't have many things of this nature yet. This will make a great unique gift if you are looking for something for a special occasion.
