Review on Bluelab PENPH pH Pen: Accurate Water Digital Meter with Dual Probe for Hydroponic System and Indoor Plant Grow, White by Seth Singh

I purchased this product but downloaded the manual before opening it. I also watched some videos. I just wanted to get an accurate pH of the pool water but the product has very stringent maintenance requirements which may be acceptable for commercial applications but are too high just to measure pool pH. The meter must be kept in a special wetting solution, and if it dries out, the manual warns that the meter will become unusable. It also requires constant calibration. This meter may have a reputation for accuracy, but the maintenance trade-off isn't worth the homeowner. I've never used a gauge before but I think the value for money just doesn't match the current cost of maintaining accuracy.
