Review on Continental PremiumContact 6 315/45 R21 116Y summer by Adam Wiedemann ᠌

The purchase did not justify itself at all.

Size 225/55 R19, purchased in the spring of 2022 and used for practically an entire skating season. Make a reservation right away; the driving is little aggressive. I'm not exactly a cautious driver, but I don't drive like a grandpa either. On dry soil, everything is excellent, but riding in the rain is, at best, an inconvenience. Obviously, it's too soon to tell how much wear and tear there will be, but with four-wheel drive, I anticipate very little, if any, wear. They say there is no substitute for more than ten years of driving experience. Even though they performed far better in the rain than their competitors—especially the Bears—Catal Michelin, Toyo, and Yokohama nevertheless left swiftly. However, in my opinion, these large drawbacks far exceed any advantages. Even if I didn't have to, the tread pattern on my summer tires suggests that I shouldn't have driven in the mud. I'm disappointed that a well-known brand couldn't deliver what was promised. And no one should try it either!

Pros
  • They are quiet, have a decent bead that keeps the discs safe, and hold up well in dry conditions.
Cons
  • No rainy-day Derzhak for you! Not that hydroplaning necessarily means it's a significant deal, but it does mean there is, which means it's probably still negative.
