Less than four months of typical use as a 3rd brake light (3200 miles max) and the unit I installed is practically dead. The 4 LEDs on the one "flat". " side rarely glow, 4 on the other flash/flicker randomly, and one of the two on one of the "edge" sides doesn't seem to glow at all. Update 02/09/2019: I contacted the seller/manufacturer and he sent me a replacement device free of charge. I have updated the rating from 2 stars to 4 stars to reflect this. (I can't give the product a full 5 as I had an initial fault although I give the seller 5 stars.) Update 05/07/2019: 2nd unit failed and again a replacement was sent. However, I had to return defective devices. I ended up paying $11.86 to have a defective product shipped which cost me $10.99 so I would not recommend this product to anyone regardless of the level of customer service.
