Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would say that this is probably one of the best thin and light laptops out there.

After returning two defective Aero 15s I decided to try the Triton 500, very satisfied. Pros: 1. Quiet for a thin and light gaming laptop. Don't get me wrong, ALL laptops in this class get very loud under heavy loads, so wearing headphones while gaming is a must. But this one is quiet for several reasons: (1) The Predator Sense software turns the fans off completely. This is extremely useful when you are in a quiet environment and just want to surf the web a little. (2) In addition to the noise level, the fans don't turn on and off as often as the Aero 15, and the fans don't make any noise when turned on. (3) The pitch of the fans is normal and you don't hear the high-pitched "turbo whistle". The lack of high frequency noise sounds much better at the same dB.2 level. Very very good keyboard. Although there is no number pad, the haptic feedback is significantly better than the Aero 15.3's keyboard. Good 144Hz screen with good brightness and response time.4. A decent 84 Wh battery provides several hours of work without a network connection (not in games). Cons: 1. Build quality could be better. As can be seen in the pictures, the right side of the trackpad is recessed by about 1mm. It doesn't spoil the look much, but if you place your finger on the right side of the trackpad you can feel the sharp edge of the chrome part of the case. I think I could get a replacement as it must be a minor defect, but I just don't want to run into the problem again. 2. Upside down motherboard means you can hardly upgrade your RAM or SSD.3. No per-button RGB control. To be honest, I didn't really care. This is only listed here as a scam because I know some players will see it as a deal breaker. No SD card reader. A built in SD card reader would have been nice, but since I already have a 5kg camera bag with me, packing the USB memory card reader is a breeze.
