It was a good investment as travel gear for my pup. A large tote, a 4 or 5 pound bag of new groceries will fit in easily with enough room to roll down and secure the top. I personally distributed food in ziploc bags for a week's trip (I keep the bags for reuse on future trips) so I can bring food for my girlfriend in case we're going to be out longer than planned on any given day so that cooking oils leak out fabric, no problem for me. Food was stored neatly, was easily accessible, and contained odors. Loved the little zip pocket on the side! I've only used the kibble carrier once but it seems to be very well made. I'm glad I made the purchase.
