I bought 3 of these from Revain from different 'brands'. These are the same unnamed units with a label below that reads "Model RH004". I see a lot of bad reviews from people who don't seem to understand how it's supposed to work. The heater is not thermostat controlled, so it is normal for it to heat up slowly until it reaches thermal equilibrium. The roll does not heat up and the lid must be held during the preheating phase, otherwise the roll will be cold and difficult to wind. It is recommended to hold the device on its side between uses to allow the wax to remain in contact with the roller to keep it warm. This is a great way to grow if you use your common sense. Now for some bad news: There are quality control issues. Some devices heat well, some don't. Of the 3 purchased, 2 only heat up to 75°C and one heats up to 95°C. Maybe some waxes are suitable for 75, but I have found that they are not suitable for my cartridges. Buy with caution! After a week, I downgraded my rating by one star due to quality control issues. In the end I returned all my devices and chose another model with the same price but a higher outlet temperature. Thank you Revain for the free return.
