Review on 🛁 KES Bathroom Shelf, 19.6-Inch Tempered Glass Shelf (8mm Thick) Wall Mount, Brushed Nickel Finish - BGS3201-2 by Russ Montgomery

I bought this for the polished nickel finish and the sleek look. I bought it in November 2019 when renovating a bathroom. I only installed it 4/2020 due to a delay with my bathroom cabinets. It arrived with no instructions but I was able to figure it out myself and not only is the workmanship of the two wall brackets defective, the spot where you screwed in the bottom screws wasn't fully machined(?) that cuts holes. and both pieces had sharp splinters of metal. I couldn't return it due to the £30 return policy so I took some tools, shaved off the sharp edges and did my best to finish off the bad cuts. Once installed, it does not sit flush with the glass. The part the glass sits on is plastic and should probably be some kind of soft mesh, and oddly there is no protection between the top mount and the glass. Because it's plastic, I didn't want to over-tighten it to avoid cracking the glass. I'm NOT happy with that at all. I wish I had opened this box straight away (well I did but I was just checking to make sure the glass shelf wasn't broken, I looked at the mounts but didn't fully inspect them. Then I went to the product reviews and I have seen where others have complained about this. AMAZON please stop selling a poor quality product made in China! I took pictures but I don't see a place to put them.
