Oh my god, this tool! I mean well I wish I had had one like this many years ago. I have suffered from toenails all my life. They're curved to grow into the skin, so my pig fingers get infected easily. A recent visit to the podiatrist involved one of these baddies. Needless to say, I fell in love with Insta Love. Not with the doctor - Phew! - with his dental instruments. They really resemble dental instruments: long handles with textured grips. Ease of use with both hands, both feet. good shape Robust construction. good balance I wish there was a manual with it, but I think I'm using it correctly. When I lift the nail from the side of my big toe, I use my "cuticle scissors" to trim the nail. This is way better than the way I've tried trimming my nails before. I also disinfect tools and toes with alcohol before and after each use. I just used the lifting tool. I'm kind of scared of the file - it's horribly toothy, and I'm pretty sure the wicked shine isn't just too weak on beveled metal. (Begins.)
