Review on Pedal Commander - PC38: Ultimate Throttle Response Controller for Toyota Tacoma (2nd & 3rd Gen), all Models (2005 and newer) by Brian Wolf

I have a Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB and just installed the Pedal Cammander and it was fun. I was quite skeptical that this would actually work, but I was willing to try it and see if there was a difference. I've been driving around my house on the roads near my house for about 20 minutes trying different modes and I have to say that I'm honestly very impressed! Especially the city mode was perfect for me. I felt like I was driving a real car. I kept coming to a stop and hitting it, and not only was the acceleration really good, but the gear changes felt like a sports car. It takes a while to get used to having to "rock" the pedal, but I love the fact that each mode has 9 different sensitivity settings for just the feel you want. I will review each mode under this ECO mode. It feels exactly as you'd expect from the name, not very fast (but still feels like you have more control than the standard version). It felt like my truck had much better traction when cornering and the CITY mode accelerated too - that's where the money is in my opinion. It feels like driving a normal car. Rapid acceleration from full stop. When the truck shifts gears it doesn't feel like it's stepping back and then jumping forward, it's a very quick shift and you hardly feel it (I love that the most). To be honest this is the mode that sold me, it's something I'll probably stick with in my day to day driving. give it a chance I think these modes are for sports cars not trucks, CITY mode suits me. not least. I parked, turned the truck off, turned it back on and to my pleasant surprise the device returned to the mode it was in before I turned the truck off. I no longer have to press the ECT button every time I enter.
