A warm blurred image with the manufacturer's name does not mean a successful purchase. When you open the remote control, it contains contacts that need to be synchronized with the fan. If you buy a 4-pin remote control, it is not possible to sync the pins with a 5-pin fan. I've searched for conversion circuits and ways to equate a 4-pin remote to a 5-pin fan to no avail. It is very frustrating that the sales process has no information about remotely configurable parameters. BOW!
