Last year I bought some of these strings, used them outdoors and they worked great. At the end of the season we carefully removed them and put them in a box. Imagine my surprise when we used them this Christmas and every garland we bought has a section in the center that no longer lights up. The 300 lamp set is actually two chains of 150 lamps. We bought 2 sets of 300 and each string has 50 bulbs on one end that work, 50 bulbs in the middle that don't work and 50 bulbs on the other end that work. I could understand if one string is bad, but all four strings have 50 lightbulbs in the middle that no longer work. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone
