I bought it used and it still works 2 years later with no sign of bugs. However, this version is quite small, has poor graphics and is a bit slower. So if you want a 3DS but don't have one yet, you can opt for one of the newer versions. They cost extra money. But if you really have to go the cheaper route, I'd still prefer the 2DS.
