muffler OEM quality. Very quiet, with a very slight hum in the exhaust at idle and no loss of power. Provides a very smooth ride with absolutely zero rumble at highway speeds. Sitting inside, you hardly notice that the truck is running. It was installed in a 2003 Ford Excursion with a 6.8 V10 engine. The front pivot is widened to slide over the pipe coming off the catalytic converter, with the Walker exhaust sliding over it. Replacing the muffler and tailpipe took 30 minutes. Much cheaper than local extraction. Muffler, exhaust pipe and 2 clamps cost about $175.
