As technology advances and laptops have fewer and fewer external ports, I had no choice but to try this USB docking station to fix my limited access to USB ports. Initially I wasn't a fan of having a dongle on my laptop, but I didn't notice it as much as I thought it would. The wire could use some massage so it doesn't get in the way. I wish it had a 90 degree fork, that would make it more flush. I also like the convenience of having all my home station accessories (mouse, second monitor, printer, headset) ready and easily docked when I get home. via doc. The transmission speed is ridiculously fast! Gigabits of files are transferred in seconds, no other USB port on my laptop can handle that speed. Now I think this docking station has become a must have as I never knew I needed it.
