Never before has an IPS screen had such poor viewing angles and uniformity. The left and right sides of the screen have a very noticeable vignetting effect that is different from the rest of the screen. You have to sit right in front of the sides for the effect to go away. Invalid for "calibrated" monitor. Anything that contains blocks of one color like web pages, office documents, etc. will drive you insane with the shadows cast on your work. BTW, the manual doesn't mention what setting it was "calibrated" with, so it's anyone's guess. If the market weren't so tight with scarcity and speculation I'd just return it and try another brand, but for now the only other option for a 32-inch IPS 4k display is Dell for twice the money. Pros: Could be a cheap 4k IPS monitor with free sync for gaming if you don't notice too many edges. Very bright and rich colors. You must use the DP input for this function. Pretty cheap for what it is. The speakers are suitable for business and everyday use. The style of the monitor is decent. HDMI and DP cables are included. Cons: You control the quality. The first monitor was returned due to inconsistency. The second monitor was better but still the worst I've had in this regard. HDMI inputs are 2.0 only, so FreeSync (or Gsync) over HDMI can be limited if you're using this monitor dual-purpose and don't want to be constantly plugging and unplugging devices. The stand is very wobbly so it will bounce around as you type if you don't have a marble table.
