Favorite birthday present, hands down.

Bought this car for my son for three years. He's very tactile and loves to figure out how things work, so I loved the idea of giving him something he likes (cars) and being able to take it apart and put it back together. He forgot his other birthday presents and played very hard with this one for the first two and a half hours after unboxing it. It was easy for him to figure out which knob was tight and which was loose, and I guess all the parts have a pivot so he doesn't have to hold them during assembly. We've had the toy for about a week now and he runs in every day when he gets home and keeps grabbing it to take apart and put back together. Crate. We're pretty good with toy parts, but since they're small I'm sure we'll need at least a few of these at some point. The only downside is that if the car is disassembled and the switch is flipped, the car lights and sounds turn off. Otherwise they seem to run continuously. Luckily my son doesn't mind just keeping them away.
