The wipes work but I was disappointed with the effort it took to remove the brass stain. I remember once using Brasso liquid on military belt buckles which, after initial rubbing, created a kind of haze that was then quite effective in completely removing the tarnish with further rubbing. These rags smell like they've been soaked in something similar, but not enough to do their job as well as they used to.
