I have 4 of these for my Canon Pro camcorder and use them for my business. The cards proved to be very reliable. Several times I could not erase the card - the computer told me that it was write protected and could not be erased. The card lock has not been activated. I turned it on and tried again, getting the now expected read-only message. Then I unlock it again and put it back in the slot - this time I can clean the card so it's empty and ready for more video. This only happened a few times on many uses (maybe 2 cards out of 4?) and I don't know why it's happening at all. After the maneuver I described in this post, I can proceed with the plan and erase the map for next use. I don't know if this happens randomly with other cards or not. Overall, I would still recommend this card based on the reliability it has experienced so far.
