I have used this vtx twice on two tiny violins. Since the device does not come with a camera, I connected my own camera. Remember that there are three wires that need to be connected from the camera to the vtx, specifically the video, plus and minus wires. I found that the solder pads were very small and very close together. Soldering wires was therefore very difficult and required some patience. So I would say if you have bad soldering skills I would rather buy a vtx with a camera already attached. They are available as a whole. I also found that the vtx setting cannot be adjusted manually and can only be adjusted using Smart Audio. Smart Audio is where you set and change frequencies and power with your transmitter and Google. You will also need to set up Smart Audio through Betaflight if you are running older 4.1.x firmware on your flight controller. In both cases I had an older version and had to download the firmware from the manufacturer's site and install it via Betaflight for the Smart Audio to work. cannot be configured manually, connecting the camera is not easy, and setting up to use Smart Audio may require additional steps with Betaflight to install the firmware.
