This is a really cool device and you will find that you will use it in ways you never imagined. Be careful: older versions of Mac OS may have problems; Uninstall other software like OBS Studio that may be causing a conflict. It did it for me on the Sierra. Once my PS3 output started working I took the HD60s with my Mac laptop to have it diagnosed as it looks like a 1080p monitor. In fact, I recorded a speech during a DNC with someone else's Mac and was able to play the audio through the recording machine while the other machine was in the background. As I said, there are more options than you might think. LOL I haven't used it ONCE to record a game. Also great support. When I had a compatibility issue, they answered me quickly once I was in line (it took about a day) and made me run a diagnostic tool etc. I finally found out that the problem was OBS, but I think they will ask this question in the future - they are good.
