Plus Size - Slim Fit

I have a sprained knee and arthritis (in both knees now). I am a bowler and this brace is for my left leg. This is a great bandage, it works, it relieves pain. It also causes pain - it's too tight (the way it's shaped - not because of the straps). As far as I can tell, it's impossible to straighten this bandage. I don't want to force it and possibly break it. The hinge on the inside of my knee (actually the entire right side of the brace) dents my skin. I couldn't wear the orthosis for days because the joint was irritating my skin. Straps - cannot be made shorter. One is too long and hangs on clothes. Another disadvantage of this orthosis is the compression cuff. The design is great as it folds over the bandage, but it's too tight and cuts off circulation. This mount is big. I wear an adjustable arthritis brace on my right knee when I bowl. I needed a flat clip so the hinges wouldn't collide. I was hoping I wouldn't have to wear a left brace but the arthritis and MRI say it's a long time. I'll try adding some padding to the hinge and see if that helps. Conclusion - great design, needs some work. On the other hand, this bandage must not be intended for use by 68-year-olds.
