Doesn't seem compatible with Netgear GS728TP

The item was packaged nicely and was a good price, but unfortunately it doesn't seem compatible with my Netgear GS728TP switch. I was debugging some other SFPs I had on hand and it all boiled down to the SFPs. The switch didn't report any errors, but the port blinked once when the cable was plugged in and then just stayed off. I gave 3 stars because it was nicely packaged and very cheap, but unfortunately not compatible.
