This vest convinces! I compared them to Ultimate Direction Ultra Vest 5 and AONIJIE 5.5L Hydration Vest. The problem with the other two vests was that they had my phone in them which caused chafing. The AONIJIE phone case is on the front and is quite small. It hung over the girls and rubbed against my upper chest as I ran. The UD vest also has a cellphone pocket at the bottom front, a bit on the side, but it still rubs my ribs. With Salomon you can put your phone in the zip pocket on both sides under the arm/chest. The phone slides back a bit so it sits flat on the back of my ribs and DOESN'T RUB! (I'm 5ft 5in, short torso, large bust, small chest and huge Moto G Power phone so rubbing with other vests may not be an issue for other body/phone combos.) BENEFITS : NO RAG. Fits High quality material, super soft Comfortable, you hardly notice it's there Plenty of storage space for extra stuff - headlamp, sunglasses, etc tried it out). I tried bending/tucking them multiple times but they kept popping out. I can take a 1.5 liter hydrator instead. I also put a 5 ounce Fitly bottle in one of the front pockets and it worked fine. The rubber band that holds the trekking poles sometimes sticks out and hits my arm. I can usually tuck it under my vest, but I can also cut it off. I wish there was a small zip pocket on the front for my key, but it works great in a large zip pocket.
