I bought this same hat for my grandchild. It’s fit her for over a year since I can adjust the crown as she grows. It’s also got a break-away clip on one side of the chin strap so that when she pulls it off when we get home from our walk I can just snap it back together. Without that clip, I imagine it would eventually tear loose. I really like that the brim is stiff enough that it doesn’t flop in her eyes. I just purchased a second hat for our second grandchild.
