I recently installed a barn door with a track that fits into a groove under the door. It squeaked loudly and was annoying, so I looked for other options and found these. It's easy to install BUT the font in the instructions is so small I needed a magnifying glass to read it! It works great and looks great with the rustic look of the door and other hardware. One issue I had was that it didn't mention drilling a pilot hole before inserting the screws into the molding. Yeah silly I just started screwing them in and cracking the molding. Nothing flashy as there's a door in front of him, but I should have known better. Add this suggestion to the instructions. Finally, the instructions require you to install the wheels/tracks before screwing them to the wall. This won't work as you have to position the drill exactly where it sits so you have to take it apart to attach the clamp. DO NOT place it too close to the ground or you will have to try to slide the nuts underneath and get them in place to reattach the wheels/tracks. Overall I like the look! My son is remodeling the house and I suggest using this guide for the barn doors you want.
