Failed in about an hour.
Operated my boat for about an hour. Failed. I checked it and all the wires with a multimeter. The plug is 12 volts. There is a broken wire in the motor. Not repairable due to construction. upset. Left me in the middle of the lake. This is not a complex product. This type has been around since the advent of gasoline engines. Most likely bad quality.
