Difficult to install, especially requires perfect side clearance. Too much or too little clearance, even 1/16 inch on each side, will cause the overall movement of the shutter to stall, eventually causing the soft close feature to fail. The soft-close function works if attention has been paid to installation and lateral clearance. Once positioned correctly, the crates move freely. That means once you put in a lot of effort to get the first 2-3 inches of drawer movement, they will slide freely. "Great effort" is the need to sit back and pull out the drawer. Pulling out a handle-style drawer isn't enough to grab it to make the drawers move. I ended up disabling the soft close feature and now I have a fairly smooth full extension roller glide.
